REMEMBERING JULIE
Julie Bolt, our beautiful manager (and Roger’s wife) died on 12 January 2025. Julie was diagnosed with Motor Neuron Disease in August 2022. This terrible disease has no cure and is always terminal. From the day she was diagnosed until her last days, Julie showed a daunting courage and resilience in dealing with the extremely unpleasant consequences of her MND. Finally, quite suddenly, she died peacefully at home with Roger by her side. Julie loved to dance to the Bads – she was really the original Bad Girl – and was our manager since we started in about 2012. She will be sadly missed by us, our friends, fans, and families. In memory of, and as a demonstration of our respect for her, the band has decided that all our shows in 2025 will be dedicated to Julie. We shall have a few special guests, gigs and tunes to add to the fun. Best wishes to you all – and as Julie would say ….boogie !
